Autism Connection Outings are social events for individuals with autism that promote social skills, connection with peers and engagement in the community.

Outings are tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of participants, while focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment. For example, sensory-friendly outings can help those who are hypersensitive to noise or light to feel comfortable, while still providing opportunities for social interaction.

Past outings have included attending a baseball game, playing mini golf, grocery shopping and cooking together, eating out with money-management, music trivia, bowling, grilling out, go-karting, and more. Participants learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun, all while enjoying the company of others who share similar experiences.
